How Rock & Pour Started

Rock & Pour was founded by Terry with a vision born from frustration. After years of watching friends spend £80–£120 on nights out that left them feeling let down — venue-hopping through crowded bars, losing mates in the chaos, stressing about rounds and splitting bills — Terry asked a simple question: what if one night could give you everything?

The answer was Rock & Pour. A single evening at a single venue with a single ticket price. £55 gets you in the door with unlimited premium drinks and a full night of live music from handpicked bands. No hidden charges. No surprise bills. No decisions to make except which drink to grab next and which song to sing along to.

What started as a bold experiment quickly became one of the most in-demand live music events in the Greater Manchester area. Events now regularly sell out weeks in advance, and the Rock & Pour community keeps growing with every show.

The Bowdon Rooms — Our Home Venue

Every Rock & Pour event takes place at The Bowdon Rooms, a stunning venue nestled in the heart of Bowdon, near Altrincham. With a capacity of 300, the venue strikes the perfect balance between intimate and energetic. It’s large enough to generate a buzzing atmosphere, but small enough that you feel like the night belongs to you and your friends.

The Bowdon Rooms is easily accessible from Manchester, Warrington, and the wider Cheshire area. It’s a venue with character, history, and the kind of atmosphere that chain bars and nightclubs simply cannot replicate.
